Applications are now being accepted for City of Greenville Tourism Fund grants. Tourism funds include accommodations tax and hospitality tax funds, which must be used for marketing projects, events or capital projects that promote and develop tourism through the generation of publicity and substantially increase travel to the city of Greenville for recreation or leisure. Applications are reviewed by the City’s Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee and each application is reviewed individually to determine its potential economic impact on local accommodations and restaurants.
