Funding: The development of Falls Park , with a budget of $13,217,500 , was funded through the City of Greenville Hospitality Tax .

No property tax dollars were used for this project. Operating expenses will be paid with an annual allocation from the hospitality tax. Additionally, a $3 million endowment has been established through private contributions.

A 501c3 fund, the endowment is expected to generate up to $100,000 annually when fully funded, to support the ongoing development and programs of Falls Park.
